Ep. 1: Usagi Transforms into Sailor Moon to Defeat Morga

Fourteen-year-old Usagi Tsukino rescues a cat from bullies before school. She visits a jewelry store with friend Naru Osaka and meets Mamoru Chiba and Motoki Furuhata. Her mother Ikuko scolds her for poor grades. The cat, Luna, reveals herself and commands Usagi to find a princess and destroy evil, transforming her into Sailor Moon. Usagi hears Naru in distress after a monster named Morga, disguised as Naru's mother, sells cursed jewelry to drain energy. Sailor Moon arrives but is attacked by controlled buyers. A masked stranger in a tuxedo intervenes. Usagi weakens Morga with her tears, then uses the Moon Tiara Action technique to defeat the monster and restore the victims. The stranger identifies himself as Tuxedo Mask before leaving.
