An energy blast transports the Guardians to the ruined Moon Kingdom, where they encounter a hologram of Queen Serenity and learn about their history. Meanwhile, Luna and Artemis locate the entrance to the Dark Kingdom. Kunzite launches an attack against them but is ultimately defeated by Sailor Moon.
