Sailor Moon enters the Dark Kingdom to confront Queen Beryl and Prince Endymion. After restoring Endymion, he kills Beryl, who is then possessed by Queen Metalia and transformed into a giant monster. Princess Serenity defeats Beryl with the help of the Inner Guardians' spirits, destroying Metalia but sacrificing her own life. The Silver Crystal responds to Usagi's final thoughts, reviving everyone with altered memories to allow normal lives. Only Artemis and Luna retain the memories of these events.
