Ep. 102: Nero watches from a statue as Asta and Yuno battle an elf while Father Orsi dies from poison.

Nero observes the boys from beside a Wizard King statue on a giant demon skull. Asta and Yuno fight an elf using poison plant magic. Meanwhile, injured Father Orsi, Sister Lily, and orphans recall memories of the boys growing up and their recent adventures with their squads, the Wizard King, the Underwater Temple, the Witches Forest, and the Midnight Sun. Asta attempts to use his sword to remove the poison from Father Orsi, but fails because the original spell is gone and cannot be nullified. Father Orsi expresses pride in both boys, asks them to protect the village, and then dies. Asta’s grief summons the sword taken from Licht, now black and rusted. Grasping it, Asta sees a vision of Licht, and his anti-magic demon form activates.
