Ep. 142: Dazu Tayaku joins vigilantes targeting Asta after losing her family to the invasion

Before the capital fell, Dazu Tayaku lived with her husband and mother-in-law. As a Catalyst Magic user, she relies on borrowed power. During the elf invasion, her family died, and her husband cursed her for being useless. Dazu later believed false rumors that Asta caused the attack. Kabwe Karyon, a subordinate of Damnatio, resents the six-month delay in executing Asta and Secre. Dazu and her friend Bou Nokude join Kabwe’s Devil Banishers, a group seeking revenge against devil’s servants and those formerly possessed by elf souls. They kidnap Marie, Gauche’s sister, injuring Neige in the process. The group then attacks the Bulls hideout, knocking Asta and Secre unconscious with gas. When Noelle arrives, they escape with only Secre. Noelle tends to Asta while Gauche discovers Marie is missing.
