Gaja questions Asta about his origins, prompting a detailed explanation of his childhood with Yuno in Hage and his rejection by the magic system. Asta describes finding the five-leaf clover Grimoire after Revchi’s attack, joining the Black Bulls, and meeting the elf Patry disguised as Licht. He details learning Ki detection from Yami, accidentally activating his devil form against Ladros in the Witches Forest, and mastering it at Yultim volcano. Asta also recounts wielding the Demon Destroyer sword against Zagred during the elf invasion and facing his parliamentary trial. Gaja, satisfied, resumes their duel, briefly witnessing Liebe protect Asta before deciding to push him further. Meanwhile, Loropechika encourages Noelle, who hopes to avenge her mother, as Liebe notes the increasing excitement within Asta.
