Ep. 230: Muramasa's Zanpakuto Rebellion Shocks the Soul Society

A mysterious figure signals his allies to act while Ichigo Kurosaki experiences a strange connection with Zangetsu. In the Seireitei, Thirteen Court Guard Squads captains and lieutenants find their zanpakutou malfunctioning and causing detachment. When ryoka attempt to breach Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryuusai's quarters, he and Choujirou Sasakibe confront them, only to be shocked by the intruders' identity. Yamamoto summons the squad leaders to Soukyoku Hill, where the stranger identifies himself as Muramasa. Sajin Komamura attacks with Tenken, but the sword assumes a human form, strikes him down, and joins Muramasa. Other Soul Reapers fail to release their weapons as the zanpakutou transform and declare war against their masters.
