Ikkaku and Yumichika arrive in Karakura Town to capture a hollow that attacked a Soul Society convoy. They initially seek lodging at Ichigo’s home but are redirected to Keigo’s residence. Mizuho Asano, Keigo’s sister, shows strong interest in Ikkaku, prompting Yumichika to glue a wig onto Ikkaku’s head. This action upsets Mizuho, who makes their stay difficult, forcing the pair to camp outside. While Mizuho and Keigo purchase juice, the hollow attacks Mizuho. Ikkaku removes the wig and intervenes to save her. The following day, the Shinigami prepare to depart. Mizuho acknowledges Ikkaku’s rescue, and the two reconcile, restoring their relationship before the mission concludes.
