Ginjou falls to a fatal wound from Ichigo, prompting Tsukishima to attack before Riruka intervenes while possessing Rukia. Shishigawa removes Tsukishima as the remaining Xcution members disband. Ichigo travels to the Soul Society, where Genryuusai Shigekuni Yamamoto permits Ginjou’s burial in the human world. Ichigo agrees to resume his duties as a Substitute Soul Reaper. Rukia bids him farewell, reflecting on their shared experiences. Ichigo returns to Karakura Town, where he is welcomed by his family and friends. This event marks the conclusion of the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc.
