Ep. 17: Todoroki’s steam strategy and Midoriya’s plan help Class 1-A pass the exam

Todoroki counters a water attack with fire to create a steam cloud, blinding opponents before igniting a gas tank to knock them down. He then uses his ice Quirk to subdue them, easily activating their target rings to pass the exam. Inside a building, Shoji, Tsuyu, Jiro, and Yaoyorozu also succeed after defeating Seiai Academy students. Midoriya devises a strategy that enables him, Uraraka, and Sero to pass. Meanwhile, Bakugo, Kaminari, and Kirishima confront Seiji Shishikura, a student from Shiketsu High. As the exam concludes, Aizawa observes to Ms. Joke that both Midoriya and Bakugo appear to inspire Class 1-A to achieve greatness.
