Seiji neutralizes Kirishima and Bakugo with his Meatball Quirk, but Kaminari distracts him using a grenade and electricity, allowing the trio to pass. Midoriya acts as a decoy while Uraraka and Sero restrain their opponents, securing their own success. Iida searches for lost classmates and finds Aoyama hiding. They are attacked, prompting Aoyama to fire a laser beacon from his navel to lure enemies. He intends to sacrifice himself so Iida can defeat three opponents and pass. Just as the situation seems dire, the rest of Class 1-A arrives to help defeat the nearby students. Thanks to Aoyama's signal, the entire class passes, bringing the total number of successful examinees to 100 and concluding the event.
