During the school festival, Izuku confronts Gentle Criminal, whose Elasticity Quirk makes him a formidable opponent. Izuku utilizes ranged attacks to subdue the villains, but La Brava activates her Love Quirk to temporarily enhance Gentle’s strength, nearly overwhelming the hero. Driven by a desire to protect the festival and Eri’s happiness, Izuku persists in the fight. Once La Brava’s Quirk effect wears off, Izuku gains the upper hand and defeats Gentle. As Hound Dog tracks their scent and Ectoplasm arrives, Gentle chooses to surrender to Izuku and Ectoplasm, deliberately taking the blame to shield La Brava from capture.
