Konohamaru and Boruto attempt to rescue Remon but arrive after Soma has broken his seal and begun his resurrection. Their weapons and ninjutsu prove ineffective against him. Witnessing their failure, Remon is inspired to fulfill her vow by using the ancient sealing method employed by her ancestor to contain the monster. This event is part of the Konohamaru's Love Arc, specifically the fourth installment of the four-part series.
