Ep. 178: Memorial service honors fallen ninja as Ao visits Leaf Village to thank Katasuke

A memorial service commemorates those who died during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Shikamaru and Ino reflect on their fathers, who sacrificed their lives for a better future. Ao, an aide to the Fifth Mizukage Mei, travels to the Village Hidden in Leaves to express gratitude to Katasuke for his rescue using Scientific Ninja Tools. However, Ao encounters only Mugino. After sharing some wisdom with Mugino and recounting memories regarding the deaths of Shikamaru and Ino’s fathers, Ao departs the village. This segment marks the beginning of the Ao Arc, serving as the first installment in a ten-part sequence.
