Ep. 180: Boruto and friends cover Team 7 duties while Boruto learns Mugino’s tragic past.

Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki handle Team 7 missions while Konohamaru is away. Boruto visits Mugino, who shares his backstory as a war orphan forced into assassination. Mugino attempted to kill Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, who instead saved him and provided a recommendation for the Leaf Academy. Mugino met Konohamaru there, but only after Orochimaru had killed the Hokage. He asks Boruto to care for his pet turtle. Mugino then joins Konohamaru on a secret mission to investigate a crashed airship at the Land of Fire border.
