Ep. 217: Naruto faces Isshiki in Baryon Mode while Kawaki is lured from hiding by a countdown.

Isshiki and Sasuke are shocked by Naruto’s new form, which effortlessly repels Isshiki. Kurama explains that Baryon Mode drains their life force, requiring Naruto to avoid unnecessary actions. Naruto counters Isshiki’s cube attacks and enlarged rods, though he begins feeling the mode’s drawbacks. Isshiki uses his Byakugan to detect Naruto siphoning his life force and grabs him, sensing Kawaki’s chakra connection. He summons Kawaki, but Sasuke blinds Isshiki with a smoke bomb. Desperate, Isshiki unleashes his rods and holds Naruto hostage to force Kawaki’s appearance. As Isshiki counts down, Kawaki recalls Jigen’s training and emerges from hiding, motivated by the good memories he has gained since arriving in Konoha.
