Ep. 223: Inojin and Houki face off in the first Chunin Re-Examination match

Shikamaru appoints Konohamaru as referee while Himawari alerts Boruto and Mitsuki to suspicious individuals. Naruto coerces Kawaki to watch the exam. Konohamaru announces the first match between Houki and Inojin. Boruto and Mitsuki pursue suspects onto a train but find it empty. Inojin uses Super Beast Scrolls against Houki, who counters with Toujinbo. After destroying Inojin’s ink bird, Houki anticipates a Mind Transfer jutsu. Inojin attempts the technique, but Houki’s ANBU training from Sai prevents him from escaping. Houki wins the match, earning congratulations from Sai. Konohamaru announces the next bout between Wasabi and Iwabe.
