Team Sarada reaches the Funato flagship, where Boruto tries to negotiate with Ikada regarding Chojuro’s promise. Ikada sinks their vessel, forcing them aboard, and rejects Boruto’s appeals by citing Seiren’s death while unleashing sea-controlling powers. Meanwhile, Team Denki, Buntan, and Kyohou move to reinforce the group. Ikada vows to spill more Mist blood, and Tenma’s mobile fortress arrives to attack the Shinonome. Araumi boards the fortress with Kawaki in pursuit. Ikada summons Kobuna and rejects all diplomacy, proposing that Boruto bring Chojuro’s head to stop the conflict. Realizing reason is futile, Sarada and Mitsuki watch as Boruto offers his own life in Chojuro’s place during the Great Sea Battle of Kirigakure Arc.
