Kakou attempts to return the former Tsuchikage to the village, prompting Boruto to engage him in combat. Kakou employs a rare Particle Style technique, pushing Boruto to his limits. Meanwhile, Shikadai evades Akuta guards to reach the Hidden Leaf Village and report on the crisis in the Hidden Stone. Sarada and Cho-Cho join the battle, but the Fabrications prove too powerful for the trio. Just as Kakou is about to defeat them, his body disintegrates due to excessive jutsu usage. Shortly after, additional Fabrications appear, surrounding Boruto and his allies in a dangerous situation.
