Years after his father's death, Daichi Manatsu goes back to the Globe facility on Tanegashima. While investigating an old structure from his youth, where he once met a boy named Teppei Arashi, he finds a weapon known as the Livlaster. This device grants him the ability to control the Earth Engine, a giant mechanical suit. This mecha serves as humanity's primary defense against the Kill-T-Gang, an alien species aiming to annihilate the human race. The artifact connects Daichi to the machine, marking his entry into the conflict against the extraterrestrial threat that endangers all life on Earth.

Daichi and Akari repel Kill-T-Gang, reuniting with childhood friends Teppei and Hana Mutou on Earth.

With the assistance of hacker Akari Yomatsuri, Daichi successfully defends against an assault by the Kill-T-Gang. Following this victory, he returns to Earth and reconnects with Teppei and Hana Mutou, a mysterious girl whom both Daichi and Teppei encountered during their shared childhood. Witnessing the cruel and inhuman treatment inflicted upon Teppei and Hana, Daichi becomes deeply enraged by their suffering. Daichi and his friends relocate to the residence of Akari's father, Tsutomu Nishikubo, who serves as the commander of Tanegashima Base, and begin living together. Amara infiltrates the venue and confronts Baku, hoping to trigger his memories of the past. She is taken aback when he rejects her efforts. Despite his refusal, neither Amara nor his fellow companions plan to abandon their mission easily, remaining determined to persuade him to rejoin their group.

Baku Rejects Planetary Gears Due to Kumiko, Then Seeks Earth's Destruction

Baku declines to join the other Planetary Gears because of his deep attachment to Kumiko, who is the daughter of the local Yakuza. However, this stance shifts dramatically once the truth regarding Kumiko is revealed. Following this revelation, Baku makes the decision to take revenge on Earth. Concurrently, Amara and Moco seize control of a large asteroid and direct it toward Southern Japan. Their objective is to destroy the Tanegashima Base by impacting the region with the celestial body. This sequence of events juxtaposes personal emotional revelations with a significant external threat targeting a specific military installation.

Hana reunites with Setsuna while fleeing friends and facing pursuit by Amara and Moco

Hana runs away from her friends and encounters Setsuna once more. The pair becomes pursued by Amara and Moco during this encounter. Meanwhile, Puck, an artificial intelligence developed by Macbeth Enterprises, sets a trap for the company CEO and takes control of his physical form. Eventually, Daichi and Hana come together again. Daichi reconciles with Hana after their reunion. This moment of peace ends abruptly when the Planetary Gears launch an attack against them.
