Kai travels to an underground zone to face Aichi, while Ren summons Aichi via Psyqualia from Card Shop PSY. Kourin intercepts Aichi outside Card Capital, bringing him to the site where Miwa, Misaki, and Kamui urge Kai to help Aichi return to normal. As the group watches, Kai reveals he uses his former Royal Paladin deck to demonstrate its true power. A flashback details Kai’s past with Team AL4, Ren’s Psyqualia obsession, and the team’s dissolution after Ren collapsed. Kai recalls meeting Aichi and resolving to save him from his fixation on strength. With determination, Kai draws Solitary Knight, Gancelot, adding Blaster Blade to his hand. He asserts that Blaster Blade, not Blaster Dark, is Aichi’s true avatar, declaring his intent to teach Aichi about genuine strength and rescue him.
