Ep. 8: Chrono recalls his past with Rive and Ryuzu during a cardfight in a ruined area.

Chrono battles Ryuzu in a secluded ruined location, gradually recovering lost memories about his father. He remembers that Rive and Ryuzu were friends attempting to link Earth and Cray. Chrono witnessed an experiment where Rive opened a portal to Cray. Rive discovered Ryuzu intended to sacrifice Cray for Earth's benefit. During an argument, Chrono heard a voice from Cray belonging to Chrono Dran, whom Chrono had summoned to Earth. When Ryuzu tried to capture the dragon, Rive overloaded the system, exploding the portal and destroying the lab to protect Chrono and Chrono Dran. Rive ordered Chrono to forget everything before carrying them away. In the present, Chrono retains these memories and feels appalled by Ryuzu, who subsequently knocks him unconscious with a taser.
