Kai, Gaillard, and Naoki discover Serra’s true nature as he freezes the seals holding Aichi. Aichi awakens with a dark aura, blasting Kourin unconscious when she attempts to intervene. Serra explains his plan to release the power within Aichi and manipulates Neve into fighting him. Gaillard informs the others that Aichi was sealed to contain a Link Joker seed planted during the final battle of the Link Joker invasion. Believing containment was necessary, Aichi had Gaillard, Neve, Serra, and Rati seal him away. Now aware of the truth, Kai and Naoki ally with a reluctant Gaillard, who attempts to melt their ice prison with his flames despite his injuries. Meanwhile, Neve engages Aichi, who now wields a Link Joker deck.
