Aichi suffers a disturbing dream where his friends abandon him, leaving him anxious when Kourin is absent at school. While Naoki secretly follows Maki Nagashiro into a hidden room to observe the Cardfight Club, Aichi waits at Card Capital. Naoki arrives acting strangely and challenges Aichi, appearing controlled by a dark influence. During the duel, Naoki uses Eradicator, Vowing Saber Dragon "Reverse" to retire Aichi's rear-guards and boost his attack. Aichi counters by riding Wolf Fang Liberator, Garmore, utilizing its Limit Break to fill his field and secure victory. Naoki collapses, losing all memory of the event. Additionally, the Vowing Saber Dragon "Reverse" card disappears from Kai's possession immediately after the match concludes.
