The Miyaji Cardfight Club selects Naoki, Kourin, and Aichi in that order to represent them against the Fukuhara Vanguard Club in the Kanto regional qualifier final. Naoki faces Suiko in the opening match, deliberately withholding Armor Break Dragon's Limit Break to preserve his hand. Although he endures Suiko's Break Ride combo and doubts his strategy, Aichi's support helps him trust his instincts. Naoki eventually activates the Limit Break to secure a victory, giving Miyaji a 1-0 lead. The second game is scheduled to feature Kourin competing against Asaka from the opposing team.
