Takuto observes as Aichi and Kai finally face off. Aichi questions Kai’s recent actions, prompting Kai to explain his decision to become Reversed despite the severe consequences. Motivated by a desire to save Kai, similar to how he helped him during his Psyqualia crisis, Aichi initiates a fierce cardfight. The battle places Aichi in a dire position that appears hopeless. While Aichi remains determined to secure victory, Kai holds a different perspective on the outcome. The confrontation highlights the deep ideological divide between the two rivals as they clash over their respective beliefs and the future of their world.

Aichi Avoids Reversal While Leon and Takuto Plan Infiltration of Tatsunagi HQ

Aichi attempts to conclude the duel using Liberator of Bonds, Gancelot Zenith, but Kai successfully defends himself. Kai then employs Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon to defeat Aichi, causing him to be Reversed as he retreats into Tatsunagi HQ. Team Dreadnought arrives, and Leon urges Aichi to utilize Psyqualia. With spiritual assistance from Takuto, Aichi halts the Reversal process but remains exhausted. Leon reveals he rescued the real Takuto and outlines plans to infiltrate Tatsunagi HQ to defeat Link Joker. Although Aichi wishes to join, Leon and Takuto explain that his Reversal is only temporarily stopped. They warn that fighting in his current state could be fatal. Consequently, Leon and Takuto prepare to enter the building while Jillian and Sharlene stay behind to care for Aichi and his friends.

Leon and Takuto enter Tatsunagi HQ to face their Reversed counterparts. Reversed Takuto isolates Takuto in black rings and sends Leon to a separate room, where he meets his Reversed future self. The two Leons engage in combat, with Reversed Leon deploying Blue Storm Karma Dragon, Maelstrom "Яeverse". Utilizing its Limit Break, Reversed Leon exerts immense pressure on Leon while retiring his rear-guards, leaving him with minimal resources. Defying the odds, Leon uses Tetra-drive Dragon to defeat his Reversed self, who vanishes after the intense struggle. Exhausted, Leon is transported back to the main room. There, Takuto, now freed from his bindings, prepares to challenge his Reversed self to a cardfight.

Takuto confronts his Reversed counterpart, while Aichi is shielded by friends who are subsequently encircled by other Reversed fighters. Takuto employs Salvation Lion and Grand Ezel Scissors to counter Reversed Takuto's lock effects on his rear-guards. In response, Reversed Takuto summons Star-vader, "Omega" Glendios and utilizes its Limit Break to permanently lock each of Takuto's rear-guards individually, simultaneously blocking Ezel Scissors's unlocking skill. Once all rear-guards are locked, Reversed Takuto activates the Ultimate Break of "Omega" Glendios to secure an automatic victory and absorbs Takuto into his body. Shortly thereafter, Aichi appears before Reversed Takuto.

Aichi faces Reversed Kourin, who was arranged as his opponent by Reversed Takuto before departing. Misaki arrives at the high-stakes cardfight location. It is revealed that Kourin, along with Rekka and Suiko, lacks past memories due to Takuto’s influence, causing her to fear losing her current recollections if she loses. Aichi overcomes this pressure through sheer spirit and secures victory by playing Liberator, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred, a card given to him by the real Takuto. After Kourin is freed from the Reverse spell and faints, Aichi intends to confront Reversed Takuto and asks Misaki to care for Kourin. However, they are immediately confronted by additional Reversed fighters.

Aichi and his allies are besieged by Reversed fighters until Teams AL4 and the Avengers arrive to assist. Aichi and Ren proceed to the Tatsunagi HQ rooftop to confront Reversed Takuto, who claims to be Link Joker’s emissary. He reveals he has fully absorbed the original Takuto, gaining strength, and warns that the world will end when the floating gate opens completely. Kai then appears and challenges Ren to a duel. As Aichi and Reversed Takuto watch, Ren fights Kai, displaying both his growth and lingering sadistic traits from his Psyqualia possession. Kai prepares to unleash his true power, predicting Ren’s inevitable defeat during their intense cardfight.

Ren initiates a Final Turn by Crossbreak Riding Revenger and Dragruler Phantom to activate a Limit Break, dealing one damage to Kai. Kai counters with his own Final Turn, Crossbreak Riding Dragonic Overlord "The Яe-birth" and locking his rear-guards to launch a triple attack. Ren, having exhausted all heal triggers, loses the duel and faints while being Reversed. With Ren defeated, Aichi becomes the sole remaining opponent capable of facing Reversed Takuto and Kai. Reversed Takuto commands Kai to battle Aichi, but Kai refuses, stating he has already defeated Aichi and no longer considers him a worthy rival. Consequently, Reversed Takuto decides to fight Aichi himself.

Aichi and Reversed Takuto engage in a cardfight where Aichi deals 5 damage but allows Takuto to establish a World End strategy using Omega Glendios. This move locks nearly all of Aichi's rear-guards, while Takuto attempts to portray Aichi as the villain and warns that defeating him would negatively impact Kourin. After Aichi suffers another hit from Glendios, the gate above Tatsunagi HQ opens. Link Joker units emerge from this portal and begin their invasion on Earth, escalating the conflict significantly.

Aichi struggles with doubt after hearing Reversed Takuto, but friend cries motivate him to fight. He uses Liberator, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred to counter the World End strategy, defeating Takuto and clearing the gates and Link Joker units. Reversed Takuto attempts a final attack, but original Takuto intervenes. Takuto apologizes to Kourin, Rekka, and Suiko before sacrificing himself and dissipating. The battle appears over, yet a gate remains above Aichi. He is then confronted by Kai, who is still Reversed.

As the Tatsunagi HQ gate collapses, Aichi and Kai remain on the rooftop while others evacuate. Kai reveals he intentionally reversed others to become the strongest, seeking to settle their rivalry before returning to normal. He initiates a cardfight to determine whose path is correct, intending to disappear after this final battle to avoid hurting his friends. Aichi attempts to stop him, insisting that Kai’s influence shaped his current self and that he is not alone. Despite Aichi’s pleas, Kai proceeds with the duel, summoning Dragonic Overlord "The Яe-birth" to decide their fates.

The final battle between Aichi and Kai reaches its climax. Kai unleashes the overwhelming Limit Break of Dragonic Overlord "The Яe-birth," but Aichi nullifies most attacks. Kai seeks to escape the world due to his sins, yet Aichi convinces him of his enduring support. This realization dispels Kai's Reverse and removes its lingering effects from Aichi. They continue fighting until Aichi defeats Kai using Blaster Blade Liberator, the card connecting them. The pair descends the Tatsunagi building and reunites with their friends as the gate above fully disappears. Later, life returns to normal. Kai walks to Card Capital to play against Aichi, whom he now recognizes as the strongest fighter and his best friend.
