After the Xuanwu Gate Incident, which led to the execution of Prince Li Jiancheng and his allies, five of his sons were implicated in the aftermath, while the historical records only mention two daughters: Wenxi County Lady Li Wanshun and the eldest daughter Li. Amid these unresolved family mysteries is Yongning Princess Li Changge, whose parents had a confusing connection to Li Shimin. Upon discovering her mother's suicide and her father's murder, Changge left the palace, filled with resentment.
