Reiji develops a detergent to assist Mina, trading free energy potions for Red Cat mercenaries Doz and Moz to advertise it. Captain Annabelle, who consumes five potions daily, agrees to the deal after testing the cleaner. Meanwhile, Reiji farms herbs at Zeral’s Alonzo field but faces pest issues. He invents a beast repellent from Utsubo flowers that works for crops but remains undetectable to humans, causing Noela to demand he bathe before approaching due to her sensitive nose. Later, Annabelle requests potions for injured soldiers fighting new bandits. Reiji crafts a spray from alcohol and Capshin Peppers that inflicts severe eye and nose pain, driving the bandits away permanently. The success of his energy potion eventually attracts the attention of the Demon Lord.
