Ep. 5: Ririka wins hunting contest with Reiji's help while Mina discovers freedom through her mother's brooch.

Ririka aims to impress her brother Kururu in the upcoming Kalta hunting competition despite poor archery skills. Reiji provides a hand-soothing potion, a short bow, and a medicinal animal lure. Ririka uses these tools to achieve 86 kills, beating Kururu's record of 19, and realizes she has fallen in love with Reiji after seeing him with Noela and Mina. Kururu later visits the store to thank Reiji personally. In a separate event, Mina is distressed by her inability to leave the house. Reiji and a carpenter find a cellar containing a brooch belonging to Mina's mother. They determine Mina is bound to the brooch, allowing her to go outside when she carries it. Meanwhile, Noela suffers a stomach ache from eating floor nuts. Reiji creates medicine that makes food taste bitter to stop this habit and sells the remedy to shop owners to prevent animals from scavenging.
