Aired on April 20, 2013

Kana reveals a swollen finger injury sustained during her match. An official informs Retro that Arata is supporting Hokuou in a back room. Fujisaki coach Midori Sakurazawa replaces a third-year Class A player with Rion Yamashiro, a second-year Class B player and Kyoko Yamashiro’s granddaughter, who serves as the final reader. Chihaya faces Rion, while Taichi plays against Fujisaki captain Emuro Ryoga. Retro tells Arata that Mizusawa has reached the final.
