Hideki seeks to understand Chi better by visiting Minoru Kokubunji, a wealthy young specialist in Persocoms and a friend of Shinbo. During the meeting, they discover that Chi possesses a unique learning program despite lacking an Operating System. Minoru determines that Hideki is capable of teaching her effectively, allowing her to absorb the information provided. As they depart, Minoru warns Hideki against developing romantic feelings for her to avoid future heartbreak. Back in his room, Hideki officially assigns the name "Chi" to the robot, solidifying their connection and beginning her integration into his life under his guidance.
