Freya assumes control of Chi, prompting Hibiya to order their shutdown and deletion despite Hideki’s objections. Hideki confesses his love and explains the true meaning of happiness to the possessed Chi. Freya acknowledges that Chi achieved what she could not while alive by finding her one and only. Accepting this, Freya fades away, allowing Hideki and Chi to remain together in lasting happiness.
