While walking to school, Tomoya Okazaki encounters Nagisa Furukawa, a peculiar girl who appears to be talking to herself. Later that day, they speak during lunch, where Tomoya discovers that Nagisa is repeating her last year of high school. She expresses a strong desire to reestablish the Drama Club, which has since been disbanded. Following school hours, Tomoya visits the bakery owned by Nagisa’s family. During this visit, he meets her parents and receives an invitation to share dinner with them, marking a significant step in their developing relationship.
