CLANNAD

A high school senior named Tomoya struggles with the loss of his mother and the resulting neglect from his father, leading him to a life of delinquency. On his way to school, he encounters Nagisa Furukawa, a student a year his senior who is repeating the grade due to health issues. Having lost most of her friends, she spends much of her time alone. Tomoya and Nagisa start spending time together, and gradually, Tomoya's outlook and behavior begin to change.
