Nagisa confesses her desire to revive the Drama Club, prompting Tomoya to assist with creating and posting advertisements around the school. During this time, Tomoya encounters two new students: Kotomi Ichinose, described as a strange genius, and Fuko Ibuki, a first-year student. Later, Nagisa discovers that Tomoya previously played basketball and invites him to a game the following day. However, it is revealed that his father injured Tomoya's arm during a fight, leaving him unable to play basketball anymore.
