During summer vacation, Tomoya and Nagisa remain nervous and have not progressed their relationship, surprising their friends. Mei returns and, learning of their stagnation, decides to act as a cupid to advance things. She devises a plan which Nagisa attempts to follow, despite it being embarrassing for her. After Tomoya confronts Mei, she runs away, but Nagisa stops him from chasing her. With time remaining in the day, Tomoya and Nagisa take a walk together.
