Ep. 20: Tomoya learns of Nagisa's past illness and her parents' sacrifices

Tomoya investigates a story Nagisa mentioned for a play, but her parents claim ignorance. Akio confronts the pair in a shed, then privately reveals that ten years ago, a high fever left Nagisa collapsed outside while her parents worked. To save her life, both parents abandoned their careers and dreams. Akio urges Tomoya to keep this secret from Sanae and Nagisa. Later, during a family picnic and a baseball game with local boys, Nagisa indirectly confesses her feelings for Tomoya.
