Ep. 4: Emi meets Devila in the tunnel while Devilo moves souls in Shinjuku

In the 47th year of the Shinka Era, a fire erupts on an overnight express train within a Hokuriku region tunnel. Emi descends deep underground to confront Devila, a female Yokai who despises humans. Since Devila’s tribe holds equal rank to Emi, she worries that Devila may have warned humans about their arrival via the Shield Method. Simultaneously, Devila’s younger brother Devilo appears in Shinjuku, looking entirely human. His poetic and meaningful words begin to stir the souls of passersby, creating a stark contrast to the tension developing in the underground.
