Shin-chan accompanies his mother Misae to the hospital, where his behavior causes trouble for a nurse and results in him being scolded. Misae later expresses regret for failing to recognize Mrs Kiko. During a hide-and-seek game with his friends, Shin-chan hides and falls asleep, prompting both his friends and Misae to search for him. The episode concludes with the family visiting the zoo, where Shin-chan is interviewed and becomes excited upon seeing himself broadcast on television.
