Ep. 4: Aoba and Ko stop a burglar, leading to secret training under Akaishi and a mysterious record-breaker.

Aoba and Ko thwart a burglary by striking the perpetrator with a baseball, yet Senda claims the achievement. Akaishi doubts Senda’s account and discovers from Aoba that she threw a ball Ko carried, while Nakanishi reveals their secret training regimen. Akaishi agrees to supervise Ko’s practice on the condition that Nakanishi rejoins the baseball team. At the Tsukishima batting cages, an unidentified boy shatters Ko’s home run record and criticizes the pitching machines’ speed. This boy later visits Seishu High School for a prospective player tour. Senda questions Aoba at the Clover Cafe about Ko’s training, but she feigns ignorance. During practice, Akaishi recounts Wakaba’s dream of Ko and himself playing as a battery at the Koshien national tournament.
