Ep. 50: Ko secures victory for Seishu and shares a romantic moment with Aoba before Koshien
In the bottom of the 12th inning, Seishu leads 2 to 1. A tired Ko pitches all out on Akaishi's advice. With two outs and a runner on first, Mishima bats. Ko walks Mishima after a full count, throwing what Junpei calls the fastest pitch of the day, shocking Aoba and Mishima. Aoba watches Ko strike out the final batter, recalling his promises to reach Koshien, pitch 100 mph, and his love for her. Post-game, Ko hugs Aoba, who slaps him, claims to hate him more than anyone, and cries. Before traveling to Koshien, Akaishi visits Akane in the hospital, and Nakanishi consoles Azuma. Aoba and Ko meet at a station cafe, discussing Wakaba and Akane. Aoba drags Ko to the platform by the hand. When Ko asks how long they will hold hands, she replies he can let go if he dislikes it. The credits show Ichiyo Tsukishima and Junpei Azuma getting married.
