A town known as Rags Town serves as a dumping ground for those seeking to erase their pasts, where strict rules prevent inquiry into personal histories. Within this setting, a small detective agency named S&A Detectives operates. The narrative centers on Ayamana, a pair of mismatched aspiring detectives, and the case Manami impulsively takes on, leading to unexpected complications. During their investigation, they encounter a woman with an unusually high body temperature being pursued by armed women. After she is given the name Sara, the detectives attempt to uncover the truth about her. Concurrently, a phenomenon causes teenage girls across the town to overheat and transform into glass. Authorities are concealing the events, yet the detectives, alongside a curious reporter and local law enforcement, strive to uncover the cause.
