Kuro awakens in Dr. Go's laboratory following a kidnapping and subsequent repair into a cyborg. He successfully destroys his control chip, which allows him to break free from Dr. Go's influence. With his autonomy restored, Kuro immediately begins his journey to return to the home of his original owners. This sequence of events marks his initial escape from captivity and sets the stage for his efforts to reunite with his previous guardians.
