Nana departs with Kuro while he is in recovery. During this time, Kuro experiences another dream about his past. Conflicts emerge between the cats and a different gang of strays. Kuro attempts to flee in panic but ends up fighting members of his own group. This altercation occurs just before a larger confrontation is set to begin. The events highlight the tension between the groups and Kuro's internal struggle as he prepares for the upcoming battle.
