Upon learning of Nemu's amnesia, Sakura attempts to halt the magical cherry blossom tree, which only blooms more intensely in response. While Nemu wanders away from home in a daze, Jun'ichi searches for her. He eventually locates Sakura, successfully reaching her emotionally to cause the tree to wither. Nemu then appears, bringing Jun'ichi joy. Sakura accepts her fate, wishing only for Jun'ichi and Nemu's happiness. With the magical influence gone, the Hatsune-Jima sakura trees become ordinary, allowing all islanders to resume their normal lives without supernatural interference.
