Yoshiyuki continues his puppet show training alongside Otome, who invites him and Yume to her home for dinner after a recent absence. During the visit, Grandpa Jun'ichi is present, and the group watches news reports detailing numerous unexplained fires. Otome shows Yoshiyuki a childhood album, prompting him to recall how Jun'ichi taught him a spell to summon Japanese sweets to bring happiness. He also remembers a promise made to Otome during their youth. Subsequently, Otome reveals that she possesses the ability to perform magic as well.
