Santa’s friends observe his anxiety as he awaits a visit from his pen friend in Germany. After Kanata saves him from a truck, Santa explains his nervousness about Akane’s arrival. He stays at his home for moral support, but panics when the doorbell rings and Akane is not there. He flees to a record shop, pursued by Kanata. Akane arrives at the house, finds Santa missing, and visits Saionji Temple, where she meets Miy, Momoka, and a transformed Wanya. She then heads to Heio Machi station. Santa arrives there holding a distinctive record, allowing Akane to recognize him. They share a brief conversation, observed secretly by Aya, before Akane departs. The pair resumes their letter exchange as usual.
