Jessica and Billy reach ten wins to advance, prompting Angra Texas to schedule a head-to-head battle between Hiro and Ran for the last finalist position. During the thirty-minute preparation window, Ran and Yuuya argue, leaving Yuuya feeling inadequate as a coach. Jin observes Ran privately before stepping in as her coach for the duel. Ran demonstrates improved mastery of her weapons, holding off Hiro’s Perseus attacks. However, Hiro anticipates her movements, using a mid-air leap to unbalance her Minerva. A follow-up strike from Perseus causes Ran to fall, eliminating her and sending Hiro to the three-way final.
