Assassination plans targeting the Peace Speech on Peace Island during Artemis are disclosed. To counter this, Ban, Jin, and Yuuya enter the tournament using prior finalist status. Jessica suggests forming two teams of three, but Hiro hesitates due to lack of experience. Otacross mandates special training in Angra Texas, the nation's most dangerous no-rules LBX tournament, assigning Ban, Jin, and Yuuya as trainers for Hiro, Ran, and Jessica respectively. During training, Jessica and Ran ignore advice, while Hiro learns diligently. The tournament begins with a surprise rule: participants must use their trainers' weapons until the finals. Ten battle circuits operate simultaneously, requiring ten wins for advancement, with only the first three achievers qualifying. Hiro and Ran win easily. Jessica struggles against a Buld with 100 firing rounds until Jin advises using memory for opponent movements rather than specs. She memorizes their actions, dodges every attack, and destroys the Buld to advance.
