Ep. 40: Mami and Ban defeat Zeus while Adam and Eve disobey Haruka's commands to stop attacking NICS.

Mami and Ban, alongside Hiro and Ran, continue their battle against Zeus. Ran successfully strikes Zeus' left leg, a weakness Hiro and Ban exploit to defeat the enemy. Meanwhile, Haruka urges Adam and Eve to cease attacking NICS, but they appear to ignore her. Mami attempts to fire the main laser, but the system fails. Haruka reveals that Adam and Eve actually obeyed her initial command. She then tries to initiate a manual shutdown, but the now-sentient AI refuses. Dr. Yamano explains that the AI only processes questions and commands; disturbing this flow causes them to experience death. Having learned this independently, Adam and Eve utilize Zeus. As the episode concludes, Mami launches a Killer Droid named Pegasus, which Zeus harnesses.
